Dr. Melanye Maclin's new segment on the Steve Harvey Morning Show!

Dr. Maclin will now be "on air" with Steve Harvey every Monday @ 6:30am.
Check your local radio stations for the syndicated program.

Dermatologist, Melanye Maclin, M.D., founded Innovative Hair Technology, Inc. in September 1999 and developed BellaNutri® an innovative nutritional supplement.

Dr. Maclin created the company based on an initial passion to educate about the science of hair and research natural ingredients that would benefit the hair by nourishing the hair follicles from within. Traditionally, in the beauty industry, there has been an external focus on the care of hair.

I would like to know what are the exact ingredients in your BellaNutri supplements? They are not listed on your website. Also, you said your product will not regrow hair that has had trama to the follicle, does this include damage around the temple due to braids and styling?? Thank you.

Good Morning Dr. Maclin & the Steve Harvey Morning Show Crew,

I am a 25 year old african american female. I have been suffering for about three years now with severe allergic reactions to the sun. When I am out in the sun for as little as 30 minutes, I break out in this horrible rash all over my arms, hands, shoulders, neck, face and the bottom of my legs. The "hive like" rash seems to only happen on the areas that are exposed to the sun. I now try to wear shirts with short sleeves (rather than tank/halter tops) and long pants/skirts to help prevent the breakouts as much as possible. I have gone to several doctors and they have suggested nothing more than wearing longer clothes and sunblock. I use Aveeno Photobarrier SPF 45 daily and I also use a combination of Cortisone 10 and/or other itch relief creams with Eucerine. These rashes are very very uncomfortable and itches like heck. Is there anything else I can do? Is there anything I can take orally? PLEASE HELP before I scratch the skin off my body!

I do not like my freckles and have considered several times having them removed. Do you recommend this type of treatment for women of color and do you have a doctor referral you can provide?

Hi Im Krystle I listen to the Steve Harvey radio show when I get a chance and I heard you up there and I was wondering if you could help me with some problems I have with my hair. Im mixed with black and white and my hair is dry and frizzy and prone to split ends. I've tried conditioners and hot oil treatments, I've even used products for dry damaged hair and nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

Good morning Dr.,

In listening to your HAIR segment on the Steve Harvey Morning Show today, I attempted to call in but was unsuccessful in getting thru. Therefore, I'd like to take a moment of your time and ask what you think my options are in regards to my physical situation. I am a 5'8" 250 lbs. 35 year old African-American female who is very "hairy." My face, legs and buttock areas are the hairest. Not to mention my arms, stomach and chest areas. I have been told by a gynecologist that I have what's called "hairsisitus" which is when a female possess more male hormones than she should. Because I have had this since I was young, I've become accustomed to it but, I am extremely concerned about the facial hairs which is a MUST that I shave on a daily basis otherwise I would have stubbles like men do when they don't shave. I have a varied daily intake of a variety of foods as I will eat or try almost anything and am not allergic to anything. Please advise as I heard you say that topical treatments may not help this type of situation. I await your response and should you require more information, you are more than welcome to correspond with me via e-mail at luv1law@yahoo.com. Thanks for your time, thoughts and assistance!

Dr. Maclin,
Just wanted to say you do a wonderful job on the Steve Harvey Show. Also, with your BellaNutri supplement does it cause hair growth all over the body? Does it increase the hair growth of facial hair? I am assuming that as long as there is a hair follicle that the hair will grown.
One more question, I have attempted to take supplements for my skin but every time I do I break out in the face. Do you know if there is a possibility this could occur with your product?

Thanks and keep up the excellent work!

Dr. Maclin,
What's your take on the locs hairstyling? The basic route of loc maintanence at a typical hairstylist is an all natural shampooing of the hair followed by the rolling of the locs with some type of all natural gel and then an excruciating session with the dome hairdryer!!! Any suggestions

Dr. Maclyn - I am a 47 year old black female. I heard you on the Steve Harvey morning radio show today speaking about your product. I have hair loss all along my hairline as if my hairline is receding. I have been using women's rogaine over the past 3 years and it has helped some but I still have the same issue. I am thinking of trying your product but would first like to know if your product works for women who are experiencing alopecia?

Hi Dr Maclin,

I heard you this past week on the Stever Harvey morning show. I just had surgery have been told due to malabsorbtion and intake of protein, I may lose some of my hair. I would like to minimize this as much as possible. I am african-american and wear my hair naturally but colored. Is there any information you can offer?

Dr Maclin,

I have been using bella nutri for over a month and am starting to see obvious improvements in my face and nails (my hair's twisted most of the time so I'm not sure how much its changed). I was wondering if you could suggest any topical treatments (scrubs, exfoliants, etc) since I am still experiencing some dry spots around the bottom of my face. I appreciate any help you can provide, thank you!!

Dr. Maclin,

Good Morning. I heard you on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. My question is about skin tones/complexions. My skin tone is not the same throughout my body. My arms and hands are darker than my face and the rest of my body, my face is lighter than my arms and hands but still darker than the rest of my body. Is there anything that I can do to have an even skin tone/complexion.

Please let me know. Thank you

Dr. Maclin my mother is a diabetic and she has sickle cell and would like some advice about her hair. Off and on for about a year now she has been getting these sores that look like black heads on her scalp. She is not sure what is causing this but she thinks it is stress but she is not sure and would like to know what you would recommend. She also has fine hair and would like for it to grow longer but is not sure what to use.

I am a 33 year old african american female. For the past couple of years I have had my hair fall out in spots. I have been to the doctor and dermatologist. They have given me creams and shampoos to stop the breakage. Everything stops for a while, and then my hair grows back. The next year my hair falls out in spots again. Can you please tell me what is going on with my hair?

Hey Doc,
I had never heard of your product until I heard you and Steve discussing it one morning...
I ordered it that same day..and have been using it now for 3 mths...
I tossed the last of my last order, because I thought I had no results whatsoever...
My nails grew, but would break right off...(that's what they have always done, and nothing I have tried, has changed that), but when I got a touchup to my perm the next day, and my hair covered my eyeballs...I was like...DANG!!!
This is really kewl...needless to say, I dug that last pack of pills out of my little trash can....
I am now getting ready to order for mth 4....
I have never tried anything, EVER,that made my hair grow as this product does, and I love it...
I only have one bad thing to say about Bella Nutri...Why does it have to cost so dog gone much...
I understand you have to get yours for creating this product to help others, but the others you want to help are struggling to save enough to buy your product...
I will continue to listen and purchase, but maybe one day you could have a special of some kind for faithful customers like myself..
Love you, and keep hope alive..
One Love
Gwen in Columbia, SC
